Lovely One Bedroom Holiday Let/monthly stay. This Annex to the Main House is set over two floors, spacious for one or two guests, walking distance to Hove Beach. Dog Friendly. To include the bills (bills will be at a capped monthly rate).
This property benefits from having its own entrance, leading into a well fitted modern kitchen/breakfast room. Off the kitchen is the hallway with stairs leading up to an open plan first floor spacious and light filled lounge with fitted cupboards. Shower room and a comfortable small double bedroom.
Situated in a quiet street 5 minute walk to the beach where you will also find the newly renovated Hove Beach Park with its outdoor sports facilities. Nearby is Richardson Road which has some lovely smaller shops, florist, cafe's etc and along Hove Street, and Church Road are shops, bars, restaurants, large Tesco's supermarket and George street with more shops and restaurants. We can also highly recommend Rockwater on Hove seafront which has a fantastic retractable roof terrace perfect for those Summer evenings for a few drinks/dinner/lunch and taking in the seaview along with Babble Restaurant and Yellow Wave cafe. King Alfred leisure centre with its gym and swimming pool facilities is just 10 minute walk approximately.
Getting Around
There are frequent and direct bus to Brighton number 1 and number 700 at the top of the road on New Church Road and seafront road. The journey takes ten minutes. The train station Hove (20 minutes walk away with its London Links) takes 8 minutes to get to Brighton and just over an hour to London Victoria. Brighton Green Social Bicycles to hire on Hove seafront which will take a 20 minutes ride along to Brighton Pier.
The property is close to the sea so we would recommend a beautiful seafront walk to Brighton which takes 45 minutes. Alternatively, if you prefer a walk in the countryside then the South Downs is a 10 minutes drive in the opposite direction! Beautiful scenery and charming villages. We're incredibly lucky to have both on our doorstep.
Guest Rules
In return, we ask our guests to be aware and respectful of the neighbourhood and its community. Smoking is not permitted inside. Whilst we do a thorough clean after each booking, we ask guests to leave the holiday home as tidy as they found it.
Please note that the owner and her family live next door and below.
Regarding parking there is the Pay By Phone App to download and it costs just over £7 per 24 hours (less hours can be bought). Parking has been easy there and most likely place for a space is at the far end (beach end) just before the bend. Also need to point out that Westbourne Place is a one way road accessed closer to New Church Road end not seafront end. As you enter, go around the bend to the right and house is on the right. Depending on the time of day, the most likely parking spot is further up the road just before the next bend.
Alternatively around Richardson Road you can park for free only restrictions is between 11am-12 pm then 7 pm-8 pm.
